Screenwriter Lorenzo Semple Jr. has died at 91.  His work includes the screenplays for THE PARALLAX VIEW, PAPILLON, NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, THE SUPER COPS, 1980’s FLASH GORDON, SHEENA, PRETTY POISON and 1966’s BATMAN, and development of the original “Batman” television series.
