We are constantly looking for new and different films when it comes to bringing you the best in genre entertainment. Short films are often where you find the most exciting new filmmakers taking chances, yet most audiences don’t seek them out. With that in mind, we will be showcasing a short film each week in an effort to give a signal boost to shorts we enjoy.

After sharing the GREMLINS: RECALL fan film a few weeks ago, I was reminded of THE 4^TH RULE OF GREMLINS, a short film I first saw three or four years ago. Yes, it’s basically a skit, but when it avoids overstaying its welcome, a short skit is exactly what the doctor ordered. Co-writer/director Zoran Gvojic manages to forever taint your childhood memories of the sweet, innocent mogwai in the funniest and most perverse of ways. Have fun with this one.
