HEY BASTARDS.
The Quentin Tarantino Archives got their list on some gold. Last year, they were able to get a general best of 2010 list from the man himself. This year, they got QT to drop a full breakdown of badass; a Top 11 and some other nuggets of cool.
There are some good flicks in here, a mix of mainstream, quirky, and head-scratchers (THREE MUSKETEERS?). I wish there was a couple sentences on the “best of” part of the list, be cool to see why he picked what he did. Any way you slice it though, this is a fun as hell read and the crew over at Tarantino Archives have done us all a solid by chasing this down. Be sure to hit their site.

What I find funniest about this is that Tarantino saw Potiche.
Did Tarantino confuse Paul W.S. Anderson with Paul Thomas Anderson? Because that’s the only way I can understand THE THREE MUSKETEERS making this list.
Also, he liked OUR IDIOT BROTHER more than any other person on the planet.
Yet above all these odds Straw Dogs 1971 has faced, it has still been marked by the public as Peckinpah?? s greatest film.
