Imagine my surprise when I realized this wasn’t the sequel to Cheech Marin’s uproarious comedy SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE. Instead, it’s about yet another crazy backwoods family who likes to murder them city folk. Directed by the genre king, William Girdler, THREE ON A MEATHOOK is pretty slow, and awfully padded (the musical numbers – gah!), but I still dig it. Kinda has that dirty CHAINSAW vibe I get off on.
