God only knows what I’d be without you.
That’s a line from a song cowritten by one of the very many talented people we lost in 2025.
It’s also something I could say to the very many people I lost in 2025. God only knows what I’d be without you. I am the person I am today because I had you in my life. If I am any good at all, I am as good as I am because of your example and because of your love. All the flaws are my own innovations.
God only knows what I’d be without you. All the people in this tribute are that special someone to the many loved ones who miss them now. Many of the people in this tribute have entertained and inspired people the world over. By doing that, they’ve made so many lives better, even just for the running time of a movie, even just for the length of a song. God only knows what we’d all be without you all.
As always, DG’s tribute makes room for people in the lesser-heralded aspects of pop culture, like pornography or comic books.
As always, this tribute includes a few animals as well as a ton of people. That’s not to say that people matter any less. It’s just a way to say how special animals are.
And as always, if there is a name we missed who you’d like to see featured here, please email us at dailygrindhouseonline@gmail.com and we will get them posted ASAP.
Lots of love to anyone out there who is missing someone. May their memories be a blessing.
