Hollywood’s attempt to revive the 3-D craze during the early 80s produced some wonderfully crappy films, this flick included. JAWS 3-D is essentially a reworking of REVENGE OF THE CREATURE, also in 3-D, with Bruce the Shark replacing that film’s Gillman. Some good 3-D effects and inventive death scenes help make this a fun sequel though I could have done without Bess Armstrong as one of the leads. Her cutie acting is hard to take at times. Sadly, she doesn’t end up on the dinner menu.
