There is really only one “found footage” film that works for me: THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. I think that film is genuinely creepy and has a compelling stories. None of the others seem to know what they are doing outside of collecting shaky-cam shots. The PARANORMAL ACTIVITY films are fun theatrical experiences but they don’t hold up on repeat viewings. This looks like an exception, the trailer is awesome and I dig the one-sheet. Looks like we’ll find out in January. Those looking for an INXS bio-pic are going to be disappointed.
