HEY BASTARDS.
Eli Roth is a busy mother-scratcher these days. Roth has four projects in the works right now (including RZA’s THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS) and his workload just increased by a factor of 13. DEADLINE reports that Netflix is about to order a 13-episode season of the to-be published HEMLOCK GROVE with Roth not only directing but serving as executive producer as well.
Amazon has the skinny on what we can expect:
“The body of a young girl is found mangled and murdered in the woods of Hemlock Grove, Pennsylvania, in the shadow of the abandoned Godfrey Steel mill. A manhunt ensues—though the authorities aren’t sure if it’s a man they should be looking for.”
Roth has crazy talent. His films are an exercise in patience. He knows how to build a story and then turn on the scares so a 13 episode TV project may be just about perfect for the Jew Bear.
SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,
G
