Doc Films on the University of Chicago campus is showing superior thriller PURPLE NOON, the best film to feature the sociopathic character of Tom Ripley, at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm. This is a 35mm screening. Tickets are $5 at the door. All info can be found here.
The new 4K restoration of Ed Wood-penned 1956 girl gang camp classic THE VIOLENT YEARS is showing at the Alamo Drafthouse in Charlottesville, VA at 9:45 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
The Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA is showing two newly restored horror classics. At 5:00 pm and 8:45 pm is NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and at 7:00 pm is THE OLD DARK HOUSE. Tickets and info can be found here.
