Puppet master/inventor Mr. Franz (John Hoyt in a sympathetic performance) is clearly off his meds when he discovers a way to shrink humans down to doll size so that they can keep him “company” after his wife leaves him.  Naturally his  little pets don’t take to their new surroundings and fight to return to normal size.

Typical Bert I. Gordon production starts out fairly well, playing like a Twilight Zone episode, but soon digresses into your standard piece of 50s schlock, complete with the expected run-ins with giant animals.  THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN this ain’t, but worth a look for fans of Mr. BIG. Bert supervised the special effects himself.
