This is hands down the best film Wes Craven ever made. I am not a huge fan of the director, Craven often gets too caught up in his ideas which prevent him from executing. LHOTL and THE HILLS HAVE EYES are the best films he has ever made. Before you geeks shout NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET please note I said films…not characters. Freddy can’t come close to any single character in these films but I would stand these up against NOES as a film any day of the week.
