I like Casper Van Dien about as much as bamboo shoots under the fingernails. HOWEVER, I dug the fuck out of Paul Verhoeven’s STARSHIP TROOPERS. It was like a Corman film with a budget the size of a small country. According to TOTAL FILM a fourth film (that is giving the finger to the second and third films in the series) is being developed. STARSHIP TROOPERS: INVASION – which will be CGI – is going to pick up where the first one left off. Van Dien and STARSHIP TROOPERS writer Edward Neumeier are involved as executive producers.
