[CONTEST] Chicago! See KUSO, The Debut Film From Flying Lotus For Free Next Friday

We want you to see KUSO, the debut film from hip hop artist, Flying Lotus, so we’re giving away a pair of passes to see the film in Chicago Friday, July 22nd.

Flying Lotus is the filmmaking alter ego of Grammy nominated Steve Ellison, a music producer, DJ, and rapper. Ellison had a hand in Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly.

Featuring Hannibal Buress, Anders Holm, and Tim Heidecker, KUSO takes place in the aftermath of a massive earthquake in the city of Angels and is chock full of surreal imagery. With a style reminiscent of 1989’s DR. CALIGARI, KUSO has been described as part Cronenberg and part Ren & Stimpy and seems destined to become a cult classic.

In other words, it’s gonna be really gross.

Wanna check this one out?

Simply tweet the grossest film you ever saw to DAILY GRINDHOUSE (@DailyGrindhouse) with the hashtag #KUSOGiveaway. The contest will run throughout the weekend and a winner will be selected by Monday afternoon. Don’t’ have Twitter? Just post it on our Facebook wall, you do you. The screening will take place at the Davis Theater (4614 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL) at midnight—the perfect time to see this one.

It’s just that easy. Good luck!
