Chow Yun-Fat is looking for some payback in Ringo Lam’s take on the Parker story. Lam knows how to sling bullets better than most. I think both Lam and Woo have been ripped off by every hack action director around. This flick is tough as hell and actually has one of Yun-Fat’s best performances; I dig the way he ditches the polish of previous characters for a gritty and tough strip club bouncer.
