[THE GREY LODGE] TENTH REPORT

Dougie Jones…

We’re more than halfway through the new series and we still don’t have our Agent Cooper back. I still think the rest of his missing consciousness is circling through the electrical circuits just waiting for him to shock himself back into himself. At least Dougie Jones is making progress as a character. It would seem that he now understands what love is, albeit in an Arnold Schwarzenegger/ TWINS kind of way. I could almost see “new” Dougie progressing more as a character than his now de-manufactured counterpart. That being said, I still want the real Cooper back.

Diane, Diane, Diane, Diane, Di-ane…

I had been under the impression that Evil Cooper took sexual advantage over Diane just before he disappeared twenty-five years ago. It would sure explain her rotten attitude about everything. This would also be pretty damn disturbing knowing their relationship in the original series. Now it seems that they’re in cahoots with each other. It could be possible that Evil Coop blackmailed her into cooperation.

Richard Horne…

What Richard Horne does to Miriam regarding her knowledge of the hit and run is not actually as disturbing as the hit and run. Was that blood or pie filling that she lies in? If it was pie filling then she may have actually survived. Keep in mind, we didn’t actually see the trailer explode. I wonder where this storyline is going. There’s at least a few people on social media who theorise that he’s Audrey and Evil Cooper’s son. They’re saying that she’s still in a coma from twenty-five years ago. I don’t remember anyone mentioning a coma in the show. Did I miss something.

The Mitchums…

Getting whacked in the face by a television remote will not faze them. Taking money from them however, will. How many people are trying to kill Dougie / Good Cooper? I’m not too worried actually. He’ll merely slip back to his FBI training. Maybe get a little help from “the arm” as well.

The Dialogue…

“What the fuck do we care what the government thinks about who we marry!? Are we gonna invite them to the wedding!?” This is simply one of the funniest lines of dialogue in a show filled with great dialogue. It’s also nice to know that Nadine’s drapery ideas from the old series have worked out.

Laura Is The One…

I heard that Gordon Cole was going to open a door to find Laura in front of him. I had thought that it was going to be her in the literal sense and that the scene would end before any of them spoke. Alas, it was just a brief vision as Albert stood there. Speaking of Albert; I saw a post on social media that went, “If Albert can find love we all can.” Such a hopeful statement. Was that the woman from the morue that he was dining with? And the photograph. Does this mean that Evil Cooper is the millionaire funding the glass box in New York? Now we have the Log Lady informing Hawk that, “Laura is the one.” Didn’t everyone already know this since pilot episode of the original series?

Until next week, “Here’s to Cooper…”

Be polite!!!

“Here’s to Cooper!!”
