Before he played a cannibal, Anthony Hopkins played a creepy-as-fuck ventriloquist. On second thought, I guess that’s redundant. Ventriloquists are inherently creepy.
At any rate, this flick is a lot of fun, and I can’t pass up an evil puppet movie. Plus, the cast is top notch – Burgess Meredith, Ed Lauter, Major Winchester, and Ann-Margret.
Mmmm…Ann-Margret.
Oh, and I’d be remiss not to mention it’s directed by Sir Richard Attenborough.
