The one and only film to be directed by Marlon Brando. After firing both Stanley Kubrick and Sam Peckinpah, Brando took control of the production which was troubled from the jump. The result is uneven but still effective. The second act is way too long but the ending is pretty intense revenge inspired shootout. Too bad Brando never directed again, this showed some promise. It’s going to be nice to see this on Blu-ray instead of the public domain shit.
SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,
