James Glickenhaus delivers his best film with this supercharged actioner about a corrupt police force and the unlikely team of attorney Peter Weller and undercover cop Sam Elliot who are out to stop them. The leads play extremely well together and it’s a shame we didn’t get another vehicle out of the two. Unlike other buddy action pictures of the day, these two guys are already an established team, thus we aren’t subjected to the formulaic buddy bonding story arc so prevalent in these flicks. Only beef is that the action scenes are a bit too short. Dig the Hendrix on the trailer.

I found the film slow paced and incredibly dull, and I felt so embarrassed for dragging my foreign phobic folks to this dirge of a flick.
