HEY BASTARDS.
The Sundance Film Festival is currently rocking Park City, Utah with cool flicks from around the world but they took time out of their schedule to honor the 20th anniversary of a film that started a movement, EL MARIACHI. As not only a fan of indie cinema but a fan of films period, it’s incredible to see this flick get this level of respect. Robert Rodriguez launched an independent spirit that would take over the 90’s. It was alive prior to him of course but it was quiet, Rodriguez and Tarantino kicked the doors in with guns blazing. The dude put it all on the line to get this film made and it paid off in spades. After the screening of the film, Sundance hosted a Q&A with Rodriguez who shares his thoughts on the film and also drops some news. Dig it!
SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,
