There are many schools of thought when it comes to the revered pantheon of White-Fu. Some hearken back to the classic days of Van Damme, Chuck Norris, and Bob Wall. Others prefer something more contemporary, like Scott Adkins or Randy Couture.

Sadly, few recall the heroic exploits of Jeffrey Speakman.

Granted, Jeff was a bit of a charisma vacuum, but his Kenpo was impressive (you know, punching real fast and shit), and his Shrimp Teriyaki was to die for.

THE PERFECT WEAPON is a fun flick – nothing to write home about, but better than most of the bile we’ve endured during these Dark Times of Steven Seagal’s Fat Years. Even more interesting is the supporting cast, which (no shit) includes Splinter, Professor Toru Tanaka, Shang Tsung, and fucking LO PAN!

Rufio from HOOK is also featured. He plays a street-smart, wise-crackin’ d-bag.

For reasons unknown, Speakman doesn’t kick his ass.
