DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK was a made-for-TV movie for ABC. This film plays like the ultimate monsters in the closet movie and could have easily been released theatrically. Guillermo del Toro was a big enough fan that he pounded out a remake with Katie Holmes. This flick is full of creepier than fuck moments and is available on DVD from Warner Archives.
