Paramount Pictures has released the first clip from STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS and if you had a hard-on to see this flick, be prepared for an underwhelming and slightly flaccid one minute and eighteen seconds. This is kind of an odd choice for a clip from your upcoming franchise picture. I would assume you would want a “holy shit I have to see that” type of a reaction for an anticipated film like this, right? Wrong (apparently). I am still looking forward to this flick, I am not in the I Hate J.J. Abrams camp and have really dug each one of his features (despite not enjoying his TV work). Clips like this just don’t really work out of context. This is a spoiler free trip to boredom so click play if you must, Trekkies.
