Leave it to a grindhouse lovin’ filmmaker to turn an arcade classic into a grungy piece of Bronson-esque badass. Our buddy Newt Wallen tossed this trailer over to us yesterday, he took the premise for the game PAPERBOY, and dragged it through the mud to get it good and gritty for’ya. Now this cat has us wanting a full feature of vengeance and 8-bit nightmares. Dig this good shit!

I’ve spent a grip of time tossing quarters into PAPERBOY. It always started off as a relaxing trip, then it quickly got on your nerves when you ran out of papers or the bees showed up just to fuck with you for a little bit. (and why exactly is that douchebag doing a backspin outside of his house on the sidewalk?)
