Man, if Nicolas Winding Refn wasn’t on this project I would be ready to give up. Sounds like another writer has been brought in to polish up a script that has gone through some churn from the jump. Today it was announced that Logan’s Run, which is set to begin filming next year, has hired a new writer. Andrew Baldwin (THE WEST IS DEAD) has been brought onto the project for a re-write.

Alex Garland (28 DAYS LATER, SUNSHINE) and Will Beall (Gangster Squad) have already taken a pass on the script. No release date yet for the film. Ryan Gosling is teaming up for his second Refn film following DRIVE.
