Roy Scheider is a bad ass and Malcom McDowell steels the show in a crazy, over-the-top role as the villain. Too bad Daniel Stern is in this, otherwise it would have been fucking perfect. I hate him almost as much as Steve Guttenberg… almost.
This has some great aerial shots and a torture scene that will make you wince. WARGAMES was released the same year, not a bad 12 months for director John Badham.
