The UK’s Express is reporting that Bond may be a little light in the action department when the 23rd title hits. “There are growing rumours Sam Mendes is cutting out the action scenes and making it Oscar-friendly,” an unnamed source told The Express.

There are a bunch of bastards on the site who are huge Bond fans, I am not sure what they think of this but I kind of dig it. The books, never built around set pieces, distributed the action in an even manner. Bond is more investigative then he is superhero. This could work really well with Bond SKYFALL, especially with Sam Mendes directing.
