A misfit tribe of prehistoric lamebrains learn how to create fire, play music, fashion weapons and bang hot cave babes in fur bikinis in this silly spoof of old caveman flicks such as ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. and WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH. An oddball ensemble cast of players that include Ex-Beatle Ringo Starr, Bond girl Barbara Bach, future Cheers annoyance Shelley Long, Oakland Raiders defensive lineman John Matuszak and Dennis Quaid play well in the goofy slapstick set pieces, but it’s the hilarious stop motion dinosaurs of Jim Danforth and David Allen that steal the show.
