HEY BASTARDS.
We came close, probably as close as we have in the long and tortures process of making a live-action AKIRA film. Most recently Warner Bros. put a halt on production to bring the total cost of the project down which means re-writing elements of the script. Today we are getting a look at what could have been as some storyboards for the film make their way online courtesy of io9 and Collider. This is from when Ruairi Robinson was attached to the project and give us an idea of what the film would (and still possibly could) look like. Damn, I hope someone can make this happen.
