It’s contest time, Bastards!
Time to whip out your Picasso and bust out some cool.
If you’re a fan Fred Dekker’s NIGHT OF THE CREEPS or THE MONSTER SQUAD and good at creating original art, then listen up…
Today, Fred joined the DG crew with his new column “Fred Dekker’s 4 Point Film School”. Hopefully this ongoing series helps to inspire filmmakers to create films that will live on as long as Fred’s have, but we need you to make this thing pop.
If you’re good at the four color grind, drawing and creating characters, we have an offer for you.
Fred is looking for a header image for the column that we can use. Something with the title of the column and his face, but the rest is up to you. Create something with Fred surrounded by his characters, Fred on a vintage looking marquee, Fred’s head on platter, it doesn’t matter. You can photoshop the hell out of something, or get busy with your Grandpa’s pen and ink set. Get crazy, get creative, just make this thing good and make it your own. You have a height/width of 550X260 to work with. Fred will choose the winning selection and that person will receive NIGHT OF THE CREEPS and THE MONSTER SQUAD on Blu-ray plus a one sheet of one of those films (your choice) signed by Fred Dekker. Plus, you get to see your piece up on DG whenever Fred publishes the latest edition of the column. First two runners-up will each get a signed Blu-ray of CREEPS or M-SQUAD (your choice).
Send all entries to info@dailygrindhouse.com no later than December 24th, the winner will be announced shortly after that, include your contact information and shipping address. If you have any questions, place them in comments section of this post.
Pop the ink, kids. Good luck!
FIGHT DIRTY,
G
