It is not intended to be an exhaustive, comprehensive list, but a sampling of the terrific genre cinema available to check out at your local art house, megaplex, film society, and repertory theaters.

The Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR is screening cult kung-fu favorite FATAL FLYING GUILLOTINE from a rare 35mm print at 7:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

Nicolas Roeg’s terrifying DON’T LOOK NOW is screening from a 35mm print at the Metrograph in New York at 9:15 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

The Alamo Drafthouse in Dallas is showing John Carpenter’s under-appreciated PRINCE OF DARKNESS at 9:15 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
