THE DAILY RUNDOWN is a quick look at just a few of the cool screenings and film events happening around the U.S. every day. It is not intended to be an exhaustive, comprehensive list, but a sampling of the terrific genre cinema available to check out at your local art house, megaplex, film society, and repertory theaters.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2017 (All show times are local)

The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin is screening Michael Powell’s unsettling, groundbreaking serial killer tale PEEPING TOM at 7:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

A classic and current Stephen King double feature is happening at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. At 7:00 pm, you can see STAND BY ME and at 8:45 pm, catch the new, 2017 screen version of IT. Tickets and info can be found here.

In the mood for some classic Universal monster action? The Alamo Drafthouse in Denver is showing THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON in 3D at 9:00 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

Film Bar in Phoenix is celebrating Harry Dean Stanton by showing REPO MAN at 7:35 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

Halloween may be over, but you can still see the new 4K restoration of SUSPIRIA. Catch it at the Charles Theatre in Baltimore at 7:00 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

The great Wings Hauser directs and stars in the semi-forgotten crime/horror flick THE ART OF DYING at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn at 9:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

If you know of an under-the-radar theater or film society regularly putting together repertory screenings or special events, feel free to let me know on Twitter!
