It started with a few rumblings on twitter late Saturday morning. Early that afternoon the Facebook page of David Hess was updated by his son, he had passed away at age 69. There were some hopes that maybe his account and been hacked but the AP confirmed the sad news later that day.
Though he never had a role that surpassed the grindhouse classic LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, Hess truly dug what he did for a living. He was notoriously generous to his fans and it’s tough to find anyone that has a bad word to say about the guy. The world of exploitation lost a good one Saturday.
