FILM ADAPTATION OF “PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES” LOSES DIRECTOR

Hey Bastards. Development hell continues for the film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” for Lionsgate. Deadline is reporting that the latest director attached to the project, Craig Gillespie (FRIGHT NITE remake), has dropped out.

This is just one of those projects that I have little interest in and it seems like any time a director starts digging around the material they just cant agree on a way to make this work. You know, we don’t need to turn EVERY decent book into  a movie. Why don’t we get wild and crazy and have someone write an original script with an original idea? That would be fucking nuts. We’ll keep you updated with any other movements on the project.

SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,

G
