Stuart Golden nearly pulled off a hat-trick when he followed up RE-ANIMATOR with FROM BEYOND, an incredibly well done horror film. Unfortunately DOLLS followed FROM BEYOND which isn’t even the same ballpark as these Gordon classics. Maybe it’s because Gordon didn’t have Jeffrey Combs and/or Barbara Crampton in it.
