A pair of Boy Scouts perform their good deed for the day when evil aliens brainwash giant turtle Gamera and send him on a rampage, forcing the young do-gooders  to release the big guy from the space invader’s control. The expected Kaiju monster battle results when the aliens converge to create the squid-like beast of the title, taking on the giant snapper in a rousing (?) beachside slugfest.

 

“You’ve got to be kidding me” was never a better phrase for this fourth entry in Daiei’s Gamera series. For those who missed the first three, there are nineteen minutes of stock footage to catch you up on previous plots.
