Follow up to WHITE LIGHTNING brings Burt Reynold’s Gator McKlusky back to the bayou for a series of chases and guffaws as he is forced by federal agents to butt heads with a corrupt politician, played by future drinking and driving buddy Jerry Reed. Some well-staged boat chases highlight this routine actioner. Big Burt handles the directing chores himself, making damn sure he gets to laugh as much as possible.
