According to an interview conducted by Vulture, Lucas is intent on continuing to empty his bowels on my childhood:

“I told [Spielberg] about the story, but I really haven’t found the MacGuffin yet,” he said. “I mean, I know what it’s about, but I just have to find a MacGuffin that fits into the arena we’re working in.”

Need a reminder of CRYSTAL SKULL?

I dig what Lucas has done for cinema. He has transformed the way we see and hear film, but the guy has lost it when it comes to putting together a story. Maybe Spielberg will have some balls to stand up to him this time around and call out a terrible story when he sees it.
