A mammoth Spanish Conquistador, who has been in suspended animation since the 16th century, is revived by a lightning bolt and terrorizes a small California mountain town. Without Andy and Barney around to bring down the beast, the town must rely on Ed Kemmer of Space Patrol and western legend Bob Steele to get the job done. The task proves to be a difficult one as the giant is played by boxer Buddy Baer, brother to Max and uncle to Max Baer Jr., best known as Jethro on the Beverly Hillbillies. Glass jawed he ain’t!
