Another (somewhat) contemporary gangster film, and like SEXY BEAST, this movie kicks some serious ass. Philip Baker Hall is the fucking man, and Sam Jackson is, of course, Sam Jackson. Chumps John C. Reily and Gwyneth Paltrow also make an appearance.
Paul Thomas Anderson has made many good flicks, but this is his best.
