If ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU jumped the crazy train and dropped a little acid, the result would probably look like HORRORS OF MALFORMED MEN. Teruo Ishii always walked to his own psychotronic drummer boy, and this flick is no different. Always one to explore sexuality mixed with the macabre, this film feels in many ways to be the visual equivalent of a director experiencing an orgasm of creativity and insanity. This is still unavailable (see: banned) in Japan due to the taboo nature of the content.
