JEREMIAH JOHNSON (1972)

Sydney Pollack is one of my favorite directors. He had a style that seemed to change with each film with few identifiable traits. While THE YAKUZA will always be my favorite film from the late director, JEREMIAH JOHNSON is a close second. A very patient and gorgeously photographed western set in the snowy hills of Utah.
