Toho’s shaggy version of King Kong battles dinosaurs and a robot replica of himself in this Kaiju slugfest. One of the studio’s zanier monster escapades is great fun for fans of this kind of stuff. Bond girl Mie Hama is an added attraction. One of Kong’s battle opponents, Gorosaurus, would go on to be featured in Toho’s all-star monster fest DESTROY ALL MONSTERS (1968).
