Homicidal machines spurred to life by a passing comet attack a ragtag band of misfits at a truck stop. Emilio Estevez leads the humans in a full scale war against the mechanical beasties in this outrageous horror actioner.
This absolute shitfest of a flick was famed horror author Stephen King’s one and only directorial effort. King, who was supposedly coked out of his mind throughout the production, does manage to instill a sense of fun into the proceedings, mirroring the “high” times he was having directing this turkey. Killer soundtrack by AC/DC.
