HEY BASTARDS.

A new pic from THE GANGSTER SQUAD has rolled onto the scene. The pic isn’t much, a couple of Jacks playing cool while Josh Brolin looks like a man stalking off to deliver a fist to a face.

The flick is about the LAPD’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia hoods out of Los Angeles in the 1940s. A special unit is created and charged with bringing down violent gangster Mickey Cohen (played by Sean Penn). Josh Brolin plays the leader of the task force. That’s about all we know. I don’t think there is even a poster for this thing yet but we got eyes on this and will let you know when something pops up.

The film also stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, and Giovani Ribisi. It’s directed by Ruben Fleischer (ZOMBIELAND). THE GANGSTER SQUAD is scheduled to hit screens on 10/19/2012.
