WHAT’S DOIN’, BASTARDS?

Even though it hit last October, V/H/S is in full on franchise mode. Courtesy of Latino-Review we are getting our first look at the sequel S-VHS. Set to debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, expect short stories from Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Edúardo Sanchez, Gregg Hale, Timo Tjahjanto, Gareth Evans and Jason Eisener. The wrap-around this time out is about a pair of investigators uncovering a tape while on the hunt for a student. I would really like to see this franchise stay true to the indie feel it is creating. How fucking cool would it be to see Mathew and Paul Ragsdale or Dustin Mills or some of the other directors we’ve talked to on the site bust out a short? Anyway, here’s the trailer.

In other V/H/S news, the original will be coming to the format bearing it’s name. No release date or retailers were available, but we’ll let you know when you can grab it.
