HEY BASTARDS.

Now THIS is a remake done right. Just got a new look at Brian DePalma’s trailer for PASSION, a remake of CRIME D’AMOUR and it looks to be a significant improvement over the original which is a flat, though fairly acclaimed, thriller. This looks like vintage DePalma; a director who really hasn’t done anything I have cared for since CARLITO’S WAY in 1996. this looks hot, voyeuristic, and packed with suspense and mise-en-scène, all DePalma staples. Dig it, Bastards.

The skinny on the plot:
A young businesswoman plots murderous revenge after her boss and mentor steals her idea. Starring Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace, and Paul Anderson. To be released later this year.
