I dug THE SOCIAL NETWORK. I didn’t think it was the best flick of the year but I thought it was a cool rag about the creation of a (love it or hate) life changing website. I think David Fincher works best though when he is in a dark environment full of danger, shady characters, and moral ambiguity. That environment is even better when Trent Reznor is laying down the soundtrack. Today we get a glimpse of new THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO trailer and we are all kinds of geeked. To me, this looks even better than the original which itself is a remarkable film. Fincher owns all kinds of ass this Christmas.
