HEY BASTARDS.
I always dig a character actor going full on evil for a role. Bill Nighy has done it a few times and he’s about to do it again in I, FRANKENSTEIN, one of the multiple Dr. Fank projects kicking around the ‘Wood.
If he lands the role, Nighy will be playing a demon prince. Every good villain needs a henchman though, and Socratis Otto of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE will most likely be snagging that role. I hope Otto was inspired to be a henchman after he saw Hervé Villechaize’s Nick Nack in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN.
The flick follows Frankenstein’s monster, Adam (Aaron Eckhart), who finds himself hunted by demons that want to learn the secret of his creation in order to build an army of reanimated corpse demons.
The flick is being directed by Stuart Beattie, the writer of GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA, AUSTRALIA, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, and other crap. The story is cool but I don’t have much faith in Beattie as a guy that can pull this off. I hope I am wrong though.
SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUECE,
