Good Christ I dig starting my Monday with news that smacks me in the geek. Variety is reporting that Peter Weller has joined the cast of J.J. Abrams’ STAR TREK sequel. Hell. Yeah.

I have wanted a Weller comeback for a long-ass time. I had dreams of Tarantino pulling a Travolta with him but I will settle for a badass role in STAR TREK. Weller can work sci-fi characters better than most so he should fit right in with (or against) the crew of the Enterprise.
