Films that are lovely and warm don’t belong in a hive of scum and villainy like Daily Grindhouse, but it’s the Coen Brothers so both lovely and warm get a pass.
This film looks gentle and amazing, maybe even amazingly gentle. There is always a warmth in the films of the Coen Brothers, sometimes you just need to know where to look. With INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, you don’t have to look hard. This is playing at Cannes this year before opening later in December.
